Chatter and Flapping Wings  

According to Playbill.com, chatter around the message boards and other Social Networks, Clay is going to be performing on American Idol Thursday night April 18th.  Joining him on stage will be Fantasia, Season 3 winner and the final 5 ladies from this season.

And then there were five.

Following Lazaro Arbos' elimination from the "American Idol" competition, there are now five remaining contestants vying for the top prize. The finalists, all women, include Janelle Arthur, Candice Glover, Kree Harrison, Amber Holcomb and Angie Miller.
The April 17 broadcast of "American Idol," the next round of the singing competition, will be broadcast 8-10 PM ET.
The April 18 results show, which also begins at 8 PM ET, will feature performances from "American Idol" winner Fantasia and Season Two runner-up Clay Aiken.
Former "American Idol" contestants who have taken to Broadway after their stint on "Idol" include Fantasia Barrino (The Color Purple), Clay Aiken (Spamalot), Constantine Maroulis (Rock of Ages), Diana DeGarmo(Hairspray), Frenchie Davis (Rent) and Jordin Sparks (In the Heights) as well as former "Idol" judge Kara DioGuardi (Chicago), among others.

    I'm so excited to see Clay on AI again! I can't wait to hear what he's going to sing! Whatever it is I'm positive it will be fantastic!

    I never thought I'd see Clay on AI again, but am thrilled with the news. I cannot wait, and I know he will be fantastic. Come on Thursday!!!!!!

    Looking forward to Clay's appearance on AI. Clay's successes over the past 10 years have branched out into other areas--he's not just a singer anymore! Starred on Broadway, appeared in several TV shows, written a book, equal rights activist, his very important charity work, and more.
